那到底女性使用智慧型手機做蝦米用途呢?就像David Christopher說的,女性並不會因為很酷炫的功能而對手機心動,她們注重外觀漂亮、價錢實在阿!
David Christopher, the marketing chief of AT&T’s wireless division, said women were less likely to be wowed by fancy gadgets. Instead, as smartphones have become sleeker, smaller and cheaper, they have become more appealing to them.


文章中出現幾隻手機,一直提到的「黑莓機(BlackBerry)」(左圖),掀起一陣熱潮的iPhone還有這個月Samsung要出一支新手機Instinct(右圖),也是支觸碰式智慧型手機。文中也指出了iPhone相對於BlackBerry的優勢:簡約及多媒體的設計更可以吸引女性消費者。根據Nielsen的調查指出,在使用智慧型手機的女性中,有2/3的人是為了娛樂而不是商務用途;而男性部份則只有42%的人是為了娛樂而使用智慧型手機。
“Years ago the market was much more focused solely on function. Now there is more focus on lifestyle.”said by Mark Guibert, vice president for corporate marketing at RIM.
真的,現在因為科技的進步,各家的功能也都差不多大同小異啦!加上現在美學開始備受重視,大家不再去比較「功能性」,反而比較注重「娛樂性」,「漂不漂亮」成為很大一個選擇的因素。
看來iPhone真的是會抓住不少女性的心阿!
